Melton draw Leek in Mixed Trophy

The draw in the England Hocey mixed tropy will see Melton faceoff against higer ranked opposition Leek Hockey Club in the secnd round of the competition.
Melton's mixed team captained by Andy and Sophie Brown progressed in to the second round, with out having to hit a ball after first round opponents Old Silhillians withdrew from Sundays rearranged fixture. To progress in to the third round Melton will have to caue an upset against an opposition who can select players from the a ladies team ranked 4 divisions above Melton ladies and a mens side that play in the National North league, also 4 leagues higher than Melton Men.
The second round fixture takes place on Sunday 19th Febrary as Melton play host to Leek HC at Meton Sporst Village with an 11:30 start.
