AGM Calling Notice
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Melton Hockey Club (the club) will be held at 1400 on Saturday 14 April at MMRFC Bar, Melton Sports Village, Burton Road, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE141DR.
The Accounts of the club, officers reports and the formal Notice of the AGM will be circulated on or around 6 April 2018.
If any member has any resolutions which they would wish to see put to the AGM then they are invited to submit any draft resolution to the Committee no later than 4 April 2018. If the committee considers such resolution appropriate then the Committee may give notice of the resolution to members as is required before any such resolution can become before the AGM. Alternatively members can secure the required support of voting members for their resolution provided due notice is given to the Club Secretary so that notice of the resolution can be included in the final calling notice.
Resolutions at General Meetings are voted on in the first instance by a show of hands. Each full member present or by proxy has a single vote, cast by the member’s duly authorised representative.
If members are unable to attend the meeting they can vote by appointing a Proxy, notifications of proxy must be received in writing (including electronic form) by Alastair McQuillan (club secretary) by 20:00 on Friday 13th April 2018.
